Morgan Co. man arrested on felony arrest warrant

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The Morgan County Task Force and ALEA Narcotics Division served an arrest warrant on Betterton Drive in Danville on Wednesday.

Jacob Lee Palmer, 25, had a felony arrest warrant for being in violation of drug court.

When agents arrived at Palmer's home they found meth making items and a meth lab in a trash pile behind the home.

Agents searched the home and surrounding property and found a one-pot meth lab as well as five HCL gas generators. Agents also found fuel, lithium batteries, acid, coffee filters, and an empty bottle of pseudoephedrine.

In addition to the warrant, Palmer was charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of felony drug paraphernalia.

Danville and Punkin Canter VFD were called to decontaminate Palmer.

Palmer's bond was set at $350,000. The violation of drug court warrant has no bond.
