2 arrested for January armed robbery at Limestone Co. store

LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The Limestone County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people for the armed robbery at Abby's Mini Mart in January.

David Allen Williamson, 23 of Athens, and Adrian Neal Horton, 25 of Toney, are both charged with robbery.

They are being held in the Limestone County Jail on $20,000 bond each.

On January 8, the sheriff's office responded to the store around 7 p.m.

The clerk working at the store had been robbed at gunpoint. The gunman took around $350 from the cash register.

The suspect then made the clerk lie down when he ran out to a car.

Investigators recovered a handgun magazine from the floor as well as video and fingerprint evidence.

The investigation revealed that Williamson was the driver and Horton was the gunman.
