LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WAFF) - After an ongoing joint investigation between the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and the F.B.I. one woman was arrested for aggravated rape of a child.

Rachael Boyett,20 of Taft, was arrested Thursday. She is being held in the Lincoln County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

The arrest was in conjunction with the arrest of Wesley Thompson Ryan, 27 of Fayetteville, who was arrested last Saturday on federal charges of sexual exploitation of a child by attempting to persuade a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of the account and distribution and possession of child pornography.

According to TN.gov, the definition of aggravated rape of a child is if the victim is three years or younger.

This is still an ongoing investigation and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office expects both to face federal charges.
