DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Wednesday, employees of the Kohl's in Decatur called the Morgan County Central Dispatch about a suspicious person inside the store.
Officers went to the store and spoke with Barbara Ann Nicholas as she was leaving the store.
Nicholas had $1,100 worth of merchandise that belonged to Kohl's. She was escorted back inside the store and turned the items back over to loss prevention.
Nicholas was transported to the Decatur City Police Department where she met with detectives. She was charged with theft and booked into the Decatur City Jail.
