(WAFF) - Prior to Thursday's Cotton Bowl, those in charge of keeping the crowd full of pep took part in a little game of their own.

And as with most things in Texas, it couldn't be done any way other than big.

Alabama and Michigan State cheerleaders hopped aboard the Goodyear blimp for a friendly game of cornhole.

Why the blimp? Because their beanbag tosses were aimed at a more than 2,000-square-foot target.

Their game was a record-breaker: Guinness World Records officially deemed it the largest cornhole game on earth.

The result, by the way... a draw.

Watch a short video highlight of the game here.
