FBI connects serial bank robber with Ardmore bank robbery

ARDMORE, TN (WAFF) - A serial bank robber is now being connected with an Ardmore bank robbery.

The FBI said the "Move Quick Bandit" is responsible for 11 bank robberies, or attempted bank robberies, between TN and KY beginning in July of 2015.

He is connected with a bank robbery in Ardmore, TN in August of 2015.

The FBI said the suspect pretends to have business at the banks to approach and rob unsuspecting bank tellers. He also threatens to kill the tellers if they do not comply with his demands.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for these crimes.

The bank robbery in Ardmore happened at CB&S bank in August of 2015 when the suspected robber fled on foot and police searched for him. They said he was a light-skinned black man wearing a white hat.
