HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville Animal Services offered a great Cyber Monday deal for folks who came into the physical shelter to adopt an animal.

The adoption fees were waived.

We spoke with one woman who decided to adopt two more dogs to add to her family.

"I heard it early this morning on TV and I thought, I have two, why not open my heart and home to more. I think it is marvelous because a lot of times people can't pay to adopt, but they do make loving homes for pets," said Vicki Corsetti, who adopted two dogs.

Animal Services says they are offering the deal to say thanks for the community's support.

By the close of business Monday, 93 animals were adopted - more than 60 dogs, and all but three of the cats that were there that day.

In the month of December, the adoption fee at Huntsville Animal Services is $25.
