MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - On Friday afternoon, investigators with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office arrested a Decatur man in relation to the murder of a Marshall County couple.

In October, the sheriff's department identified the victims as 68-year-old Denie Tucker and 64-year-old Pam Tucker, both of Albertville. Their bodies were discovered at the Tucker Farm in the Asbury community.

Jeffery Lee McKelvey, 46, was arrested and charged with murder Friday afternoon.

McKelvey was transported to the Marshall County Jail, and his bond was set at $1,000,000.

The victims were murdered in their Pea Ridge Road home on September 10.

A $10,000 reward had been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. It is not known if that reward aided in McKelvey's arrest.

The sheriff's office said the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are likely.
