Bark and Treat: Dogs have field day at Halloween event
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Dozens of pets celebrated Halloween at Huntsville's recently renovated Southside Dog Park.
Huntsville city leaders and dog lovers gathered at the park on Chaney Thompson Road Saturday for the official dedication.
The nine-acre park includes a new fenced-in area for dogs, benches and shaded pavilions.
Mayor Tommy Battle then lead the Bark and Treat Halloween Walk.
Several dogs up for adoption from Huntsville Animal Services joined the fun.
