LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Lauderdale County grand jury indicted a woman who tested positive for drugs while giving birth.
Lauren Columbia is charged with exposing children to narcotics.
According to police, Columbia tested positive for amphetamines and benzodiazepine during a still birth at ECM Hospital. Reports show Columbia claimed she only took Tylenol and prenatal vitamins, then later recanted her story, saying she took a muscle relaxer from a friend.
