Alabama cities rank low on list of 'most recession recovered'

ALABAMA (WAFF) - While many cities across the United States have bounced back from the recession, which officials say ended six years ago, Alabama cities are not doing so well.
The highest ranking of an Alabama city, was Montgomery at 116 and Huntsville was ranked at 119 on a list of 150 cities surveyed.
WalletHub used the following criteria to determine the rankings for this list: the inflow of college-educated workers to the number of new businesses to home-price appreciation.
With Huntsville being, the second highest ranked at 119 and Montgomery the highest at 116, here is how the remaining large cities in Alabama ranked - Mobile 131 and Birmingham 133.
