ASPCA is having an adoption weekend Saturday and Sunday at Hillsboro Gin & Feed Co. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will take place on July 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m on 14934 Highway 20 in Hillsboro

Potential adopters will need to bring one government-issued photo ID, such as a drivers license, passport, military ID, or non drivers ID, proof of address and if possible a pet transfer crate.

All adoption fees will be waived. The ASPCA will ensure that all pets will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated free of charge. They will also have members of the ASPCA Anti-Cruelty Behavior and Veterinary teams on-site to answer any questions about animals' temperaments and medical history.

Hundreds of animals will be available for adoption this weekend. Many of the animals required critical medical treatment and care.
