GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Guntersville police have made an arrest in the burglary of a firearms store.
Police arrested 26-year-old Kasey Joe Cormier in connection with the burglary of Command Tactical in Guntersville.
ATF agents report that at 2:30 Monday morning, someone crashed a one-ton dually truck into Command Tactical and stole pistols from the store.

Guntersville police say the truck used to crash through the store had been stolen from Weather Rental Center in Albertville business shortly before the burglary. The truck was found a short time later near the crime scene.
According to the business, the rearview mirror in the truck was ripped out to prevent the OnStar GPS from tracking the stolen truck. The truck also had barbed wire marks across the windshield and the doors.
Cormier has a lengthy criminal history, including several arrests for theft and burglary.
In 2009, Cormier pleaded guilty to theft of property and receiving stolen property. In 2011, Cormier pleaded guilty to charges of receiving stolen property and DUI. Most recently, Cormier pleaded guilty to burglary in 2012.
The owner of Command Tactical said he is waiting to see if the stolen weapons have been recovered. He said he has insurance adjustors and contractors surveying the damage to begin the repairs process.
He cannot resume selling guns until permanent repairs are made.
