MADISON, AL (WAFF) - The City of Madison is set to announce the construction of its first movie theater tomorrow.

CinePlanet 15, a 15-screen, state of the art theater, will be located at 2050 Hughes Road, behind Publix.

The theater will include stadium seating, high-back rocker seats with a "Cozy Seat" retractable armrests and increased legroom for extra comfort and accessibility.

All auditoriums will feature digital surround sound equipment and digital projection, including 3-D movie format. Movie screens will also be curved, ensuring maximum clarity and brightness.

Using a smartphone, customers will be able to reserve their seats ahead of time and also purchase tickets. Customers can also use the Ticket Taker, without having to stand in line to buy their movie tickets.

To shorten the traditional ticket lines, the box office will have multiple ticket stations and will also offer automated ticket machines inside the lobby.

CinePlanet 15 will also boast a video arcade featuring the latest in video game technology.
