(WAFF) - A man made his niece's day - and scored 'uncle of the year' status at the same time - on a recent visit to Florence.

Jesse Nagy, an actor from Detroit, was in Florence visiting his sister, along with his nephews and niece. Nagy said he spent a lot of time with his nephews, but was having trouble finding something to do with his niece, 4-year-old Izzabella.

"What does a grown man do with a 4-year-old girl?" Nagy said.

That's when he said it hit him.

"She's a princess; she wears her little princess dress all over the house," he said.

So he decided to take her to the movie theater to see "Cinderella."

Before they left the house, Izzabella said she just wanted to wear regular clothes to the movie, because she didn't want to wear her dress out of the house. That's when Nagy told his niece that they could both wear princess dresses.

Nagy borrowed a prom dress from a family friend and off they went.

"Prom dress showed up, fit me like a glove," Nagy recalled. "And the rest is history. We showed up at the movie theater; she had a great time... I kept telling her they all thought she was a princess."

Not long after the pair arrived at the theater, an employee snapped a photo of Nagy and his niece and posted it on Reddit.

Nagy said by the time they got out of the movie theater two hours later, the photo already had millions of views.
