Madison County Sheriff's patrol units responded to the 100 block of Cloverbrook Dr in Harvest Saturday at approximately 3:07 a.m.

When authorities arrived they found Anqualo House, 33, dead after sustaining critical injury to his neck.

The suspect, Troy Wright, 25, was still on the scene when authorities arrived and was immediately detained.

After speaking with several witnesses, Wright was arrested and charged with murder.

Fredrick Benjamin lost his neighbor and close friend, Anqualo House after he was shot in the neck.

"Mr. House was a caring individual." said Benjamin

House was military veteran and caring father.

Early Saturday morning Benjamin said House got into a fight with his girlfriend and nephew, Troy Wright.

The police were called, but House had left his home when they arrived. When the officers left, he came back to get his car according to Benjamin.

"Yeah he just wanted to get his stuff and leave and somebody that said something that upset him." said Benjamin.

Benjamin said he then got into his car and put it in reverse.

Benjamin was one of the witnesses and he said that it was a painful thing to watch.

"Like you would never believe that happened, and like I said, to sit there and actually watch my friend die in front of me was pretty painful." said Benjamin.

Wright is being held in the Madison County Jail and being held on a $75,000 bond.
