Huntsville man taken to hospital following armed robbery

The Huntsville Police Department responded to a robbery call on the 4000 block of North Memorial Parkway around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim stated that two males in a silver Chevy Impala pulled up beside him and told him he had a flat tire.

When the victim got out of his vehicle to check the tire, the two men physically attacked him.

During the attack, one of the men pulled out a handgun.

When the victim fell to the ground the two men stole an undisclosed amount of money out of his pants pockets.

The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
