2 dead, 1 in jail after drug deal turns deadly

MADISON, AL (WAFF) - Madison and Huntsville police departments held a press conference at 3 p.m. Friday to discuss the recent homicide investigation.
Madison and Huntsville police are jointly investigating the homicide.
Kelvin Harris of Athens is currently in police custody after being charged with the murder of Kenneth Turner who was found dead Thursday night in a wooded area off of Adventist Boulevard.
Harris has been taken from Limestone County Jail to Madison County Jail.
Police are still investigating the murder of 42-year-old Arun Noble of Athens was fatally shot on Wednesday at Mountain Lodge Apartments in Madison.
They believe the three men involved in this case came from Athens to Madison for a narcotics robbery.
Madison City Police Captain John Stringer said they were told the robbery involved prescription drugs.
"Detectives were told the three men, each of whom had criminal histories, had come to Madison with the intent of committing a narcotic related robbery." said Stringer. "The robbery involved prescription drugs. At some point an argument ensued, resulting in the shooting of Arun Noble."
No arrests have been made for the murder of Noble at this time. Police did say as they continue to investigate they might end up charging Harris with additional crimes.
