LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Lauderdale County judge sentenced convicted killer Raymond Clemmons to 20 years in prison.

Clemmons gets credit for the time he has already served.

He was convicted in September for the shooting death his cousin, Jerry Ivy, in a 2012 shooting.

He said he was afraid of Ivy due to a prior altercation between the two.

Clemmons has been in jail since he was arrested for the murder.
