ATHENS, AL (WAFF) - Limestone County sheriff's deputies will be offering free software to parents to help protect kids from cyber predators.

The software is called "computer cop" and it allows parents to monitor their children's online activity.

The software is easy to install and use, and it's been endorsed by the Justice Department and US Marshals.

The Sheriff says the department is using funds it seized from criminal suspects to pay for it.

You can get your copy by going to the Sheriff's Office on West Elm street in Athens.
