BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFF) - A federal grand jury indicted a Huntsville man on new child pornography charges, more than a decade after his original arrest.
The grand jury indicted 37-year-old Ellis Orrell Atkinson IV with four counts of child porn.
Atkinson was charged with producing child porn, two counts of possessing child porn, and one count of receiving child porn.
The indictment alleges that Atkinson used a child to engage in sexually explicit conduct so he could take pictures.
Atkinson was convicted of possessing child porn in state court in 2002. Because of the prior conviction, he faces a maximum of 110 years in prison on the four charges as well as $750,000 in fines.
