FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) - As Decision 2014 draws near, citizens in Lauderdale County learned more about their two candidates for Sheriff.

The two men participated in a debate at the University of North Alabama's Guillot University Center.

Former Florence Police Chief Rick Singleton and Lexington Police Chief Augie Hendershot answered questions from a panel of University professors Tuesday night.

The debate is sponsored by UNA's Department of Criminal Justice.

The election is Nov. 4.
