Investigators find meth lab and stolen car in garage apartment
During a home burglary on July 31 a car and other items were stolen in the Honeycomb area. The estimated value of the items, including the car, was over 13-thousand dollars.
Last night, Marshall County investigators tracked down the stolen car parked in a garage near Simpson Point Road in Grant Alabama. A further investigation uncovered a methamphetamine lab in the home along with the remaining stolen items.
35-year-old Caleb Chae Rainwater, 32-year-old Jessica Rose Anderson, and 48-year-old Jimmy Alan Ginn were inside the apartment. All three people were arrested and later charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance.
With the investigation still in progress, 21-year-old Bradley Wayne Whorton pulled into the driveway. Investigators found the Whorton was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Rainwater, Anderson, and Ginn were all taken to the Marshall County jail with no bond.
Whorton was also taken to the Marshall County jail, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the 2nd degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, his bond is set at 1000 dollars.
More charges are expected, investigation into the burglary and stolen car are still underway.
