FERGUSON, MO (WAFF) - Law enforcement officials in Ferguson, Missouri arrested a Huntsville man during the overnight protests as unrest continues to unfold in the city.
McCoy was charged with refusal to disperse, a misdemeanor. He has been released pending application of warrants, according to Brian Shellman, Press Release Officer for St. Louis County, Missouri.
According to attorney Michael Nack, when a person is released "pending application of warrants," law enforcement will "provide the prosecutor's office with the information they have, and the prosecutor decides whether or not to bring charges."
From Aug. 18 to Aug. 19, 52 people were arrested in Ferguson.
