Sheriff: Suspect confesses to wife's murder

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The Madison County Sheriff's Office identified the woman who was found dead in a home on Old Railroad Bed Road over the weekend.
Investigators said 28-year-old Vicky Lynn Parsons was found dead on Saturday afternoon at the home where she lived.
After an investigation, investigators arrested 40-year-old Jamie Wayne Parsons. They said Parsons confessed to a fight that resulted in the death of his wife.
Parson's was charged with murder and booked into the Metro Jail on $60,000 bond.
The sheriff's office is waiting on the results of an autopsy that was conducted on Monday.
