JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The body of a missing Scottsboro man has been found in the woods near the spot where he was last seen.

Troy Jens, 51, went missing on June 4 after he was dropped off at the boat ramp near Waterfront Grocery off of Highway 79.

Search crews went out to the area on Saturday morning to continue their search for Jens when they found his body on a hill, behind Waterfront Grocery.

Rescue workers said they are sure it is Jens' body because it was found with a bag of his belongings.
