LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - The Limestone County District Attorney is seeking the forfeiture of cash and property seized in at a spa in Elkmont following a prostitution bust, according to court documents.
Deputies raided the Pine Tree Spa in May. Three women were arrested on prostitution charges.
In the complaint, District Attorney Brian Jones said that his office wants property and cash that was gained as a direct result of prostitution, that was gained indirectly by used money accrued through prostitution, or that was used to promote prostitution.
The District Attorney is seeking to get control of $12,256 cash, as well as two televisions, two refrigerators, a washer and dryer, a security camera, DVR and a cordless phone.
Two of the three women arrested were scheduled for a preliminary hearing Tuesday, but Jung Blanton and Gyeong Yim Gweon waived their case to a Limestone County grand jury.
