Franklin Co. salmonella patients released from hospital

FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - State health officials said all the victims of a salmonella outbreak in Franklin County are out of the hospital.

Three people had to go to the hospital after getting sick with what was determined to be the foodborne illness.

The common link – all three people had eaten at the restaurant El Patron. The restaurant remains closed as the health department continues their investigation.
