HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Baby Oliver had the honor of being the Baby New Year for Huntsville.

Oliver was born at Huntsville Hospital at 9:01 a.m. to first-time parents Julie and Chris. He weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and was originally due Dec. 26.

The parents were at a friend's house Tuesday night celebrating New Year's Eve when Julie went into labor. After seven hours of labor and a natural birth, Oliver entered the world and earned the title of Huntsville's Baby New Year.
