Four people were arrested in a pair of drug-related cases in Jackson County Thursday.
Two men were arrested following a traffic stop in Scottsboro. Narcotics investigators discovered and seized synthetic pot, marijuana and paraphernalia.
Jacob Clinton Galloway of Section was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the synthetic pot, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. At the time of his arrest, Galloway lied about his name to avoid arrest on outstanding warrants and was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction, as well as burglary and multiple theft charges.
Jeffrey Dean Metcalf of Scottsboro was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a separate case Thursday, a search warrant was executed at the Graystone Apartments in Scottsboro. Investigators found synthetic pot and cocaine and other paraphernalia at the scene.
Timothy Marcus Carroll and Stephanie Robinson-Carroll were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Timothy Carroll was charged with an additional count of possession of controlled substances for the cocaine.
