Police respond to Jet-Pep burglary

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville police responded to a burglary early Saturday morning on University Drive.

Officers reported that they responded to an alarm call around 2:51 a.m. at the Jet-Pep on the 2000 block of University Drive. Upon arrival, officers said they saw that the front glass door to the business had been forced open.

Police said they cleared the business and notified management. A short time later, officers said management arrived, did a quick inventory and discovered that a large amount of cigarettes and cigars were stolen.

No arrests have been made yet.
