2nd Vina coach arrested on sex charges

VINA, AL (WAFF) - In less than a week's time, a second Vina High School coach has been arrested for having sex with a student.
38-year-old Brian Keeton is a math teacher at Vina, as well as the boys' basketball coach, according to Superintendent Gary Williams. Keeton has been at the school for two years.
Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver said the 17-year-old victim told his investigators about the alleged encounter.
Keeton is the second teacher to be charged with having sex with a student in less than a week. Friday, deputies arrested Sonny Tibbs on similar charges.
