COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Tuscumbia burglary suspect's Nike tennis shoes turned into evidence against him.

Marcus Maurice Jackson, 25, is in the Colbert County Jail charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.

He is accused of stealing the safes from the Yogi's stores in Tuscumbia and Littleville in December.

Investigators said Jackson had shoes and a T-shirt with white eye holes cut out that matched the guy seen in surveillance video of the burglaries.

They also found the remains of the two safes at a trailer on the street where Jackson lives.
