HOLLYWOOD, AL (WAFF) - Jackson County investigators are examining a truck they pulled out of Mud Creek.

Officials found the 1994 GMC pickup ender 12 feet of water around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Sheriff's officials think it could have been in the creek for up to seven years because it had a 2005 tag.

They said the tag had been switched and they identified the registered owner.

The case is under investigation.
