LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Lawrence County Agents arrested a woman who allegedly supplied meth ingredients for two and half years.
Officials said Lisa Owens bought more than 50 boxes of cold medicine and sold them to meth producers for $50 a box.
Manufacturers use the pseudo ephedrine in the cold medicine as a key ingredient to produce the drug.
When agents arrested Owens, they found Soma pills in her purse and no prescription.
Owens was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance second degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
