Gadsden man sells stolen jewelry

GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) - One man was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property in Etowah County.

James Maxwell Scott of Gadsden was arrested after he allegedly received and sold stolen jewelry at a store in Gadsden. The jewelry had been taken from a residence in Rainbow City on April 30. Three of four pieces of jewelry have been recovered.

Scott was charged with one count of receiving stolen property and has a bond of $2,500.
