Police charge 2 after finding crack cocaine and a stolen laptop

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Officials arrested two people after finding drugs and stolen property at a residence in Decatur.

Units found quantities of crack cocaine, prescription medication, drug paraphernalia and a stolen laptop at a residence on Grant Street Wednesday.

After investigation, officials determined Joshua Dewayne Kirkland and Shantrez De'Lecia Gardner had traded crack cocaine for the stolen laptop.

Kirkland and Gardner were charged with receiving stolen property second degree.

Their bond was set at $2,500 each.
