MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A confessed killer in Marshall County is scheduled to learn his punishment Tuesday.
Alex Walley pleaded guilty to the murder charge in October.
He admitted killing 52-year-old Carl Edward Howard during an argument in 2009. Walley was dating Howard's daughter at the time of the shooting.
Prosecutors said Walley pleaded guilty to the murder charge in a blind plea. That means he can be sentenced anywhere from 10 to 99 years.
Walley has been free on bond since his guilty plea.
