A former Cullman County man investigated for the 2008 disappearance and murder of his step daughter has been sentenced on federal child pornography charges in Alabama.

Brooke Bennett, Raymon Gagnon's step daughter, was last seen at a Vermont convenience store. Her body was later found in a shallow grave.

Another man has been charged in her case.

Judge Lynwood Smith sentenced Gagnon to 97 months in prison for possession of child pornography. He's already serving 17 years in federal prison for child porn.

Investigators caught on to Gagnon during the investigation into Bennet's disappearance. He tried to access the girl's Myspace page from a computer at a Cullman library.
