Georgia is a proud University of Georgia graduate. While in college, she spent a semester in Washington, D.C., interning with the Investigative Team at ABC-7 News, slipping over to the sports desk when she could. Georgia also has experience as a freelance journalist and covered AAU basketball in the Southeast.
This may come as a surprise, but Georgia is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up around sports, watching Georgia games with her father on Saturday’s and going to the College World Series religiously every year. When Georgia is not busy at work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, or playing pickup volleyball whenever she has a chance.
