Havoc honor former coach for home opener
Glenn Detulleo will be honored prior to game Friday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - The Huntsville Havoc announced today that they will be paying tribute to their former head coach and current Executive General Manager, Glenn Detulleo, in a special ceremony prior to the team’s home opener on October 27th, 2023.
Glenn Detulleo, a pillar of the Huntsville Havoc franchise, served as the head coach from the end of the 2011-12 season until the recent 2022-23 season. Under his leadership, the team saw immense success both on and off the ice. Detulleo’s impressive coaching record boasts 337 wins over 648 games, a testament to his dedication and commitment to excellence. Among the numerous accolades achieved during his tenure, the most notable are the back-to-back Presidents Cup Championships in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
Keith Jeffries, the team’s Owner, shared, “Glenn’s impact on the Huntsville Havoc and our community goes beyond the numbers. He not only molded the team into champions but also instilled values of teamwork, resilience, and dedication. It is only fitting that we honor such an influential figure in our franchise’s history.”
Fans attending the home opener will be treated to a memorable evening as the organization takes a trip down memory lane, celebrating Detulleo’s achievements and lasting legacy with the team.
