Female suspect in custody connected to alleged assault in Eva
EVA, Ala. (WAFF) - Deputies have located a female connected to an alleged assault reported on Thursday morning in Eva.
According to Mike Swafford with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found a male subject with injuries after arriving on the scene near Eva Road and Aday Road. No one was injured by the gunshots reported earlier Thursday morning.
Deputies identified Amanda Jackson as a person wanted for questioning in connection to the report.
Jackson was located on foot behind a residence in the area and taken into custody. She was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree elder abuse and an outstanding warrant for negotiating a worthless instrument (bad check).
Her bond was set at $55,500.
In an earlier post on the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, deputies were said to have responded to the area of Eva Road and Aday Road due to a shooting report.
