Clouds will increase tonight with lows closer to 70 degrees.

We expect more widespread showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon with highs falling back into the lower 80s. Rain could last for about 45 minutes in isolated areas with the storms Friday afternoon. Some areas could pick up over an inch of rain. The best chance for rain Friday afternoon will be from the Huntsville Metro area west to the Shoals.

Rain chances will be around for Saturday morning but Saturday afternoon looks hot and dry with a high near 90. Sunday and Monday expect only a renegade shower or storm with highs in the lower 90s. The heat index will get close to 100 by the middle of next week. Rain chances into next week will remain isolated and develop mostly in the afternoon.
