Fire officials on scene of structure fire in Killen

KILLEN, Ala. (WAFF) - Emergency officials responded to a structure fire Monday morning in Lauderdale County.

The fire broke out around midnight at the intersection of Highway 72 and County Road 31. Officials said no injuries have been reported.

According to Center Star Cheif Bevis, all businesses were closed and unoccupied at the time of the fire. Hensley RV sales sustained heavy fire damage. Another business adjacent to Hensley RV’s sustained minor heat damage with moderate smoke damage throughout the structure.

Killen Fire officials say multiple units are still on the scene, but the fire is under control.
