HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - When you have a career day like Alabama A&M’s Aqeel Glass, awards will follow. Glass was named SWAC Offensive Player of the Week.
The St. Louis Missouri native went 27-of-40 for a career high 440 yards and seven total Touchdowns (6 passing, 1 rushing) beating Jackson State 52-43. It was the ninth time in program history the Bulldogs have scored at least 50 points. The Bulldogs’ 52 points against JSU are the most against a Division I opponent in 12 seasons.
Punter Trey Lendvay punted four times for 163 yards, including a long of 53-yards to give the Bulldogs great field position throughout the game.
