HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Business leaders in North Huntsville are busy developing dozens of properties.
Dirt is being turned and buildings are going up across the city.
Leaders with the North Huntsville Business Association say it’s their goal to prepare the land to attract future businesses.
In a couple of weeks, the ribbon will be cut to celebrate the grand opening of the North Huntsville Library on Sparkman Drive.
All of these projects and the millions of dollars spent will help improve North Huntsville.
There are businesses owners calling city leaders daily.
“There are businesses that we are already talking to such as hotels. We’ve already talked to three hotels, and they’re doing their due diligence, just to see how they can fit into this North Huntsville area. They want to come. Also prominent restaurants. We’re looking at those as well, so they’re going to follow suit,” said Executive Director of the North Huntsville Business Association Judy Hardin.
