4-year-old boy killed in multi-vehicle wreck in Muscle Shoals

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (WAFF) - The Colbert County Coroner confirms a 4-year-old boy died in a multi-vehicle wreck in Muscle Shoals on Wednesday.

Police and other first responders were on the scene of the fatal wreck that happened at the intersection of 2nd Street and Gusmus Avenue all day long.

At least five separate vehicles were involved including an 18-wheeler carrying a mobile home trailer.

The wreck happened around 12:13 p.m. according to the Coroner.

One man that was in the accident said that he’s just happy to be alive.

“You know, I’m thinking I’m glad we didn’t get hurt bad. I’m glad that we ain’t hurt but, you know, going to get checked out,” said Kenneth Cosby.
