Four arrested in Morgan County drug raid

DANVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - UPDATE: The Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit and FBI executed a search warrant assisted by Decatur Police S.W.A.T. on a home at the corner of Ironman Rd and Targum Rd in Danville, Alabama.

Agents found illegal narcotics and illegal firearms during their search of the home.

Agents arrested Kenneth David Tittle and Christy Michelle Tittle. They’re charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond is set for either individuals.

Agents also arrested Jamie McGhee Cheatham and Dennis Dewayne Fite. Cheatham is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $3,000. Fite is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and 3 outstanding warrants for failing to appear. No bond is set.

Additional State and Federal changes are pending.

Agents say this is the third incident of this type involving this home with previous active state charges ongoing and federal charges pending.

ORIGINAL: Multiple narcotic agents are on the scene of a drug raid in Morgan County Wednesday afternoon.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and FBI are currently executing a search warrant at a home at the corner of Ironman Road and Targum Road in Danville.

The Decatur Police Department S.W.A.T. team is also assisting in the search.

This is an active scene and law enforcement asks for people to avoid the area.
