HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - UPDATE: Huntsville police have identified one person who was shot and killed at a Huntsville apartment complex on January 31.

Police confirm Laquintin Labris Fletcher, 26, died from a gunshot wound.

This investigation is still ongoing.

Original: Huntsville Police were called around 2:00 Sunday afternoon to the 3900 Block of Talwell Drive. When officers got on scene they found one person dead inside an apartment. We’re told the victim died from a gunshot wound. Huntsville Police Lt. Jesse Sumlin says one person is in custody for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing. Right now, there’s no word on the identity of the deceased.
