HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Decatur police responded to a call about a vehicle break-in on North Street SE in Decatur on December 30.
While conducting an investigation, the suspect identified was Kayla Lashea Tallent, said officers.
Officers said Tallent was located by narcotics investigators near the 2000 block of Beltline Road SW on January 11. WAFF is told she had two active felony warrants for unlawful breaking and entering auto. According to authorities, Tallent was additionally charged for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tallent was transported to the Morgan County Jail, her bond is set to $41,300.00 bond.
